Karter is the son of Chessur, also known as the Cheshire Cat. Mischievous, brash, and bold in general, Karter joins in when his sister goofs off and makes jokes. Since they grew up together and came out of the womb together, their bond is completely undeniable. Where his sister is constantly happy, Karter is more on the completely bonkers end of the madness scale. Unlike many students, Kat is weirdly happy on a near-constant basis, but such is the life of a member of the Mad Cat’s family. As children - or kittens - both Cheshire twins hated when people called into question how authentic their ever-present ears and tail were. This mostly happened with the Red Queen, however, as she pulled on the twins’ cat ears often. Whereas Kat still has daymares from the experience, Karter is entirely unbothered by it.
