Maleficent Bertha Dragon

is the daughter to Maleficent and Hades. Given a chance to attend Auradon Prep, she takes the lead to her mother's evil plan. She attempts to find and steal Fairy Godmother's wand and release the people from the Isle of the Lost. However, once she gets there, things slowly start to change. She tries to trick Ben with a love spell, knowing the wand will be in use for the coronation. She did not know that the lake, where they had their first date, negated the spell she used. They still fell for each other anyway. Coming to her senses, she turns down her mother, who was freed, and she ends up being turned into a lizard by Mal. Her and her friends decide to stay and choose good. Having dated Ben for awhile, the media of Auradon started going nuts. Mal was constantly in the public eye which she didn't care for. It made her miss being a villain and doing what she wants, when she wants. She basically missed her freedom. Mal and Ben later went on a date, when he reached in the basket to get a napkin and found Mal's spell book, revealing that the entire meal was by spell work. They get into a fight and Mal leaves, running to her room to change. Once dressed, she grabs her mother, in lizard form, and enchants her bike to take her back to the Isle of the Lost. [break][break]

Back on the Isle, Mal goes home, then visits Dizzy at her Grandmother's salon. This is when she first meets Harry Hook. That is when Evie, Carlos, Jay and Ben find her. She refuses to go back to Auradon, thinking it was safer with her over here. That's when Ben gets kidnapped by Harry and Uma. Mal and the gang team up and go to save Ben, giving Uma a replica wand instead of the real thing, in trade. They escaped and went back to Auradon. They told Mal to give it one day and if she was still unhappy, she could go back. Going to the Cotillion, Mal was introduced as Future Lady. Ben was then announced and soon Uma joined him. Clearly showing Ben was under a spell, Mal used True Love's First Kiss to break the spell. Uma upset, took Fairy Godmother's wand and rushed to the side of the boat. Her necklace glowed and she jumped, no matter how hard Mal tried, to stop her. Uma grew tentacles like her mother in the water, and Mal turned into a dragon to fight her. Ben jumped in the water to stop them, and Uma left, defeated. [break][break]

Mal goes to the Isle of the Lost with the group, to select new children to come over to Auradon. A week later, before they go to pick up the selected children, Ben proposes to her and she says yes. Upon leaving the Isle, Hades tries to rip through the barrier using his Ember. Mal transforms into a dragon to stop him and gets wounded, but she was successful. Back in Auradon, Audrey turns evil and takes her mother's staff. Knowing the only thing to defeat the staff, is Hades's Ember, her and the crew go over to the Isle to steal it. When Mal gets close, he wakes up and she ends up talking her father into giving her the Ember. Back in Auradon, people have been put under a sleeping spell and some of them have been turned to stone. Mal and the others rush around trying to find Audrey. They team up with Uma, Harry, and Gil. It was then revealed that Mal had come up with the idea to put up the barrier indefinitely. They all split up and went their separate ways. The Ember gets dropped in water, making it unusable. Finally coming around. Mal and Uma team up to reignite the Ember and turn Audrey back to normal. She then claims in front of everyone that she can not be Queen of Auradon but to be Queen of everyone and let the barrier down for good.
