When Zess made it up to the states, he collapsed on the beach, where a couple and their kids took him in, the vet tells them that he just needs rest, but to let him go, they gave him the name Zess, they grew to love him as he was their own, but had to give him up when a hunter finds out that the couple had him. He had been stowed away toward a college where he had gained a power of becoming human, the human was given clothes and food, when Zess isn't busy, he sometimes can be seen playing with a deck of cards, he doesn't play for money, but he does play for the fun of it and can do some magic tricks with them.[break][break]
Remembering what happened to his father, he does pity the hunters, but has never shown any hate or distaste for them. Hoping that one day they will be friends when the time is right. [break][break]

Was once a Wolf pup back in Louisiana, who lived his father, pretty soon hunters came and shot up the entire wolf pack, while Zess was able to escape, his father didn't make it out of the woods knowing what his fate would be, as he had sacrificed himself to save his son, Zess never found his way into hating the hunters, but he did consider it unfair for the hunters to ride in Helicopters and killing them for trophies, as he traveled he didn't know where to go in order to get shelter in case of a storm were to roll by at least a loving home.
